Key facts
| What it is | A countertop ultrasonic cleaner. You fill the tank with water, put the item in and press a button. Ultrasonic vibration moves through the water to loosen debris, so you do not need to scrub it. |
|---|---|
| Frequency | 47 kHz, according to the seller |
| Cycles | 3, 5 or 10 minutes, selected with one button |
| Tank | 180 ml stainless steel |
| Power | Cordless and USB-rechargeable. The seller says a charge gives up to 150 minutes of running time, and that it cannot be used while charging. |
| Cleaning solution | The seller says it runs on plain water, so soaking tablets are not required |
| Weight | 320 g (about 11 oz), per the seller |
| Works on | The seller lists retainers, clear aligners, mouthguards, night guards, dentures and small jewelry, and says to check the care instructions for delicate items |
| Seller | DentaSonic (get-dentasonicpro.com) |
Who it may suit, and who should check first
May suit
- Retainer, aligner or night guard wearers who dislike scrubbing or soaking
- Households with several appliances to keep up with
- Travelers who want a small, cordless cleaner
Check first
- Your dentist or orthodontist, if you are unsure the cleaner is suitable for your appliance or its materials
- The appliance maker's care instructions, especially for dentures, metal parts, coatings and delicate jewelry
- Anyone who needs an appliance disinfected for a medical reason, since this page makes no sterilizing claim
This is general advice, not something the seller states. Ultrasonic cleaning is an addition to brushing and rinsing as your dentist advises, not a replacement for dental checkups or professional cleaning.

- Will I use it often enough to justify the cost compared with brushing or tablets?
- Do I accept paying return shipping and getting approval before returning it?
- Does the current price and shipping cost on the seller's site match what I expect?
